A sweeping driveway leads you to the house, which is surrounded by mature gardens with a croquet lawn, terrace, swimming pool and pool house. To the north west of the house lies the stable block and former coach house. The ruins of a 10th century church, St Mary Magdalene, dated 946, lie in the garden.
